מרכז מרים

"מרכז מרים" הבינלאומי נפתח בינואר 2012, המרכז ממוקם 50 מטר מבזיליקת הבשורה.
הוא מציע למבקריו סיור קולי וויזואלי מרתק, העובר דרך התנ"ך וחייהם של מריה וישוע.
המרכז מופעל ע"י קהילת הכנסייה הצרפתית והוא מאגד בתוכו את זרמי הדת השונים באיזור.
המרכז ממוקם בקומה הרביעית של בניין משוחזר מהמאה ה17. בו מבקרים יכולים לעקוב אחרי מסעה של מרים, בעזרת מיצג תלת ממיימדי המוצג ב13 שפות שונות, כולל בעברית.
נקודת שיא נוספת היא תצפית חיצונית על החפירות האחרונות שבהן נחשפו שרידי בית רומי קדום, המתוארך לתקופתו של ישו והראשון מסוגו שנמצא בנצרת.
בעזרת שימוש בטכנולוגיות מיוחדות יצרנו גינה על הגג הנרחב ברחבי המרכזית הקפלה, המציעה מקום רגוע למדיטציה, שוטטות, מנוחה ושם תוכלו ליהנות מהנופים המרהיבים של בסיליקת הבשורה ונצרת.

.The International Center Mary of Nazareth  is open  since January 2012. It is located 50 meters from the Basilica of Annunciation. It offers visitors a fascinating audio-visual tour through the Bible and the life of Mary and Jesus. Run by the French Christian Community of Chemin Neuf, the Center has the backing of all the region’s religious denominations. Set on four floors in a restored 17th century building, visitors can follow Mary’s journey, including an hour-long show spanning four rooms that involves surround sound, wide-screen cinema and 3D effects. Viewings are possible in thirteen different languages including Hebrew. Another highlight is an outdoor viewing platform to see recent excavations revealing the remains of an early Roman home, dated to the time of Jesus and the first such house ever to be found in Nazareth. Special technologies have been adapted to create an extensive roof-top garden around the center’s chapel, offering a calm and meditative place to wander through or to rest and enjoy the spectacular views of the Basilica of the Annunciation and Nazareth
